Institutional procurement
BM receives institutional enquiries for electrical, security, power and ICT equipment, with requirements organised around the specification, quantities and delivery scope. Manufacturer status and tender eligibility must be verified for each requirement.

A CONSIDERED SCOPE
Procurement teams, facilities managers and project teams comparing equipment schedules or requesting a supply-and-install quotation.
Your quotation should set out the assessed equipment, installation, documentation and agreed delivery terms.

Request itemized supply/installation scope, lead-time confirmation and warranty terms. Tender eligibility, certifications and manufacturer authorizations are supplied only when verified for the specific requirement.
EQUIPMENT & APPROACH
Itemised BOQ or equipment schedule, exact model references or performance requirements, accessories, delivery terms and installation/testing requirements.
Explore equipment & specification guidance ↗Review the brief and identify missing information, proposed equivalents and exclusions. Confirm technical compliance evidence, lead times and quotation validity before a purchase decision; agree acceptance and handover requirements in writing.
Specify warranty responsibilities, service contacts and required spare parts before ordering. Keep approved model schedules, delivery records and any agreed test documents together for future support.
THE TECHNICAL BRIEF
BM receives equipment and installation enquiries from institutions within its confirmed service scope. A useful RFQ separates mandatory requirements from preferences.
| Option / application | What to assess |
|---|---|
| Supply only | State manufacturer/model where mandatory, quantities, accessories, delivery location, documentation and acceptance requirements. |
| Supply and installation | Include drawings or site information, BOQ, installation interfaces, testing, handover and who provides power/network/civil works. |
| Retail / wholesale enquiry | Identify intended use and quantities. Trade pricing, lead time, availability, taxes, delivery and warranty must be confirmed in the written offer. |
Ask for a line-by-line response showing compliant items, exclusions and proposed equivalents with datasheets. A similar-looking model is not automatically equivalent.
Share the RFQ reference, deadline and required response format. Agree inspection, commissioning or delivery acceptance and applicable supporting documents. No procurement accreditation, framework membership or manufacturer agency is implied.
Submit it for scope review. BM will need to identify the items it can supply or install, any clarifications and any exclusions before committing to a price or delivery programme.
BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Where permitted by the request, alternatives should be clearly identified and compared against required specifications. No substitution should be presented as the specified model.
Send the BOQ/specification, quantities, delivery location, deadline and required supporting documents. Avoid sending confidential access credentials through the public form.
