Who is it for?
Residential compounds, warehouses and business premises needing a planned security perimeter. Agricultural and wildlife enquiries require an application-specific land and delivery assessment; a wall-mounted security design is not a farm-fence specification.
Your quotation should set out the assessed equipment, installation, documentation and agreed delivery terms.

Earthing, warning & testing
Discuss earth electrodes, surge protection, warning signs, alarm output and maintenance access. Agree testing and handover scope in the quotation.

Measure the boundary, inspect wall condition, vegetation, gates and nearby public access. Agree zoning and alarm response, install the specified components and test the fence and alarm functions before handover.
Maintenance & ongoing care
Keep vegetation clear and arrange checks after storms or wall works. Report repeated alarms, broken wires or damaged insulators; servicing and fault testing should be undertaken by a competent technician.
THE TECHNICAL BRIEF

Security perimeters, livestock control and wildlife boundaries have different operating requirements. Begin with the purpose of the fence, not an energizer distance printed on a box.

A complete perimeter system
The assessed scope can include a suitable energizer, wire or animal-appropriate conductors, posts/brackets, insulators, tensioners, gate connections, earth system, warning signs, lightning protection and fault indication. Component selection follows the application and manufacturer instructions.
Farm power and maintenance
Solar operation needs an energy balance for the energizer, battery and panel through low-sun periods. Vegetation contact, damaged insulators, poor joints and changing ground conditions affect performance. Agree inspection, safe isolation, fault-finding and vegetation-control responsibilities.
Wildlife work needs a separate technical brief
Request species and land-use information, access routes, environmental constraints and the monitoring requirement. No universal wire spacing, pulse setting or energizer size is specified here. BM specialist delivery and any required professional involvement must be confirmed before a commitment.
Can I use an Agri energizer for a burglar-alarm fence?
Do not assume so. Nemtek distinguishes its Agri animal-management range from security energizers. Selection must match the intended use; advertised fence distance is not a guarantee for vegetation, multiple wires or the conditions on your land.
BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Questions worth asking.
Can the fence cover the gate too?
Gate movement and access must be assessed separately. The quotation should identify how the gate area is protected and how isolation and maintenance are handled.
Does it replace CCTV or guards?
It is one layer of protection. Cameras, lighting, controlled entry and a clear alarm-response procedure address different security needs.
