Service scope

Confirm entrance stations, indoor answering points, cable routes, power and compatibility with existing locks or gate controllers. Test audio, image, answering and release functions, and agree who can change access settings.

  • Entrance and answering-point assessment
  • Gate or door interface requirements
  • User guidance and functional testing

Assessment before quotation

Share the building type, location, existing equipment and the problem or outcome required. Assessment helps define equipment, installation, testing and maintenance requirements before price and scheduling are agreed.

Equipment & system options

Entrance camera/call station, indoor answering stations or compatible handsets, power and door/gate interfaces; network requirements depend on the selected system.

Maintenance & support

Check speech, image, call routing and release functions. Review authorised users after occupancy changes and keep the entrance station clean and protected according to the manufacturer guidance.

Planning questions

Can an intercom open an existing automated gate?

Possibly, with a compatible interface. Share the gate controller and intercom model numbers; release behaviour and safety functions must be assessed together.

Option / applicationWhat to assess
IP video intercomCheck network/PoE, indoor station or supported application, user accounts and exact model compatibility.
Two-wire optionsExisting wiring may be usable only after checking the supported system, cable condition, distance and topology.
Door / gate releaseMatch relay outputs, lock or operator input and safe exit needs. Power for a lock is not automatically supplied by the intercom relay.

Apartment and visitor workflows

Agree call routing, dwelling/reception numbering, resident administration and who can grant access. SIP or PBX integration is included only when the selected devices and functions have been verified.

Installation and support

Assess camera view, rain/sun exposure, audio clarity and cable routes. Test calling, answering, release and loss-of-power behaviour; agree account ownership, updates and backup arrangements.

Will remote answering always work without internet?

Local calling may work on the supported local system, while app/cloud features can depend on internet and vendor services. Confirm the intended failure behaviour for the exact equipment.

Equipment references & manufacturer documentation

These references help compare systems. They do not establish BM stock, dealership, partnership or model availability. Confirm equipment, compatibility and supply terms in the quotation.
